        <p>Precursor powders with the average agglomerate size of 40-1200 nm were synthesized using the reverse co-precipitation version of sol-gel method. The dependence of the mechanical strength of Y-Zr ceramics on the precursor dispersity has been studied using BET, laser PSD (particle size distribution), TEM, XRD, and DSC methods.</p>
