Magnetic field sensor for non-invasive control medical implants

Abstract:

The magnetomodulation differential weak magnetic-field sensor, based on the Bi-2223 high-temperature superconducting ceramics has been investigated. The high magnetic-field resolution (~20 pT) and wide measurement range (125 – 140 dB) have been obtained. The possibility of using this sensor for noninvasive control of magnetic particles or implanted medical electronic devices in biological objects at a distance of up to 30 mm from the skin surface is discussed.
