        <p>The modified model of metal damage by Cockroft &amp; Latham that considers its stress-strain state is described. The above mentioned model is employed to predict failure of pure titanium and determine rational thermal and mechanical conditions of deformation during equal channel angular pressing Conform. A good correlation between theoretical prediction by the modified model and experimental results is demonstrated.</p>
