        <p>The work is devoted to the study of preparation and characteristics of the development of high-resistance composites with high specific strength. The basis for these composites is the system Nb-Al. For the preparation of the samples were applied powder metallurgy technology and the creation of laminated structures by combining diffusion bonding and batch rolling. Results showed that the most significant changes are noted due to an increase of the volume fraction of intermetallic phases, which provide high strength at high temperatures. Short-term three-point bending strength at 1300 °C reached 800 MPa. Also tests have been carry out for the creep at high temperature in a similar way.</p>
